Accounting educators, students, and professionals are invited to submit completed Papers, and proposals for Effective Learning Strategies, Panels, CPE sessions, and Workshops for the 2010 AAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting. Papers may encompass any topical area of accounting and may be theoretical or practice-oriented. If you are interested in volunteering as a Reviewer, Discussant, or Moderator, please indicate as such in your SPRS user profile under "Conference Volunteer Role(s) Interested In."

The conference will begin on Thursday April 22 with a Doctoral Consortium featuring Rajiv Banker, Sudipta Basu, Elizabeth Gordon and Jayathi Krishnan, as well as CPE sessions for faculty and professionals. It will continue with paper presentations, panels, and workshops on Friday, April 23 and Saturday April 24.

In addition to the traditional research sessions, there will be teaching sessions running continuously throughout the meeting, including sessions on integrating IFRS into the curriculum, as well as teaching via YouTube, and multiple sessions on Effective Learning Strategies.

The meeting will be held Marriott Courtyard in Downtown Philadelphia *.

*The hotel is located across the street from the City Hall at 21 North Juniper Street, Philadelphia PA 19107. A limited number of hotel rooms have been set aside for conference participants at the rate of $149 per night single or double occupancy.
